About Chris

I’m a first generation Assyrian and Italian actor currently based in Chicago, IL. I graduated in May, 2017 with a degree in acting. That same year, I had to undergo open heart surgery. I’ve got the chest scar to prove it! Outside of being an actor, I’m a volleyball player/bartender/roller coaster enthusiast. I did a cappella in college which was super cool. Is that sarcasm? You decide. I like trying to make people laugh. In the 5th grade, I played the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland. After the performance, parents were coming up to me saying things like, “Wow, you were so funny!” and “Don’t tell Sara, but you were much better than she was.” That sparked a feeling of joy and fulfillment in me.

Since graduating, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with theatres such as Silk Road Rising, Interrobang Theatre Project, Rasaka Theatre and a few others. I’ve also performed at various venues with Erasing the Distance , who focus on disarming stigmas surrounding mental health through documentary theatre.
